Giants over Vikings?

Let's assume that the Chicago Bears defeat the Houston Texans on Sunday, December 28th.   Now the Bears will still need a Vikings loss to win the NFC North.   This is where the debate begins: Should the Giants try their hardest to beat the Vikings? Obviously anyone on the field will try to execute. That is not the question. The question is should the starters play deep into the game if the Giants are losing in the 4th quarter or they are leading by one score or less?   Before answering, consider this: The NY Giants had nothing to gain last year in week 17 against the Patriots. They were guaranteed their seeding regardless of outcome. They played inspired 4 quarter football with all starters to barely lose. This playoff type atmosphere got them ready for the post season.   With an extra week off considering the bye, should the starters play all 4 quarters and try to win at all cost?
